Keoghs have posted a note on LinkedIn that their Credit Hire team will today be hosting a webinar to discuss the current and future effects of COVID-19 on the industry.
As you can imagine, it is being hosted for their key Insurer Credit Hire clients and whatever flows from it will, no doubt, be communicated in letter by Aviva, LV, Direct Line, Esure, Hastings and others within days.
Not wishing to look too much like a one-issue firm, the posting also reports that Keoghs will be using the webinar to look at the impact of the pandemic on the courts and insight into driving habits over the next 12 months. The impact on the courts is not hard to guess but the insight into driving habits is one to watch if there is an expectation of fewer driven miles either as a consequence of economic or pandemic factors. Again, no doubt a story will emerge in the favoured insurance journals in the next few days.
